A friendly visit and helping hand at home for older people in Galway City
Our Senior Support Service offers a weekly visit from Garda vetted volunteers, who are trained and supported by COPE Galway.
Our volunteers offer a friendly visit at your home or meet you in your community. They offer conversation, companionship, and social connection, taking the time to get to know you. Where needed, they also occasionally help with light housework, shopping and prescription collections.
The service is available to older people living in Galway City.
