Our returns policy

We offer a ‘no quibble’ returns policy so that you can buy safely in the knowledge that you can return your goods and get a refund if you wish to do so.

To return items bought in the shop:

Items must have the original ticket still attached.
They must be in original condition, i.e. they are clean, unused by you, not worn, damp or smelly.
Your proof of purchase or a copy of it must be included with the returned item.

The item needs to be returned to the COPE Galway shop address within 28 days of purchase, or 31 days if you are overseas. Any returns which are sent later than 28 days of receipt by customers will not be refunded or returned to the customer.

How should I return any items bought in the COPE Galway charity shop?

Package the item securely
Complete the return slip with your reason for return, date, contact details and address.
Attach the FREEPOST label
Obtain a proof of postage form your Post Office or Courier

Return parcel to our address below within 28 days of your receiving the item to;

Returns which are sent returned later than 28 days of receipt by customers will not be refunded or returned by us.

Returning damaged or faulty items

If your purchase arrives but it is not in the condition that you expected, i.e. it is damaged, faulty or not as described in the listing, please accept our apology and return it to us so we can resolve this for you.

Please let us know that you are returning the item by email or phone, contact details below. Refunds will be processed within 7 working days of us receiving the item.

Changed your mind about an item you bought?

We offer a full refund within our 28-day returns period. This starts from the date that you received the goods. All goods must be returned in a saleable condition, see our returns policy.
