COPE Galway: Lucky Horseshoe Necklace for Auction in Advance of the Galway Races

The COPE Galway Charity Shop is onto a “winner alright” for the 2019 Summer Racing Festival in Galway. The Shop on Saint Augustine Street is auctioning a donated 18 karat white gold lucky horseshoe necklace with 21 diamonds on a white gold chain (pictured).  Valued at over €1,500 new, bids placed on the online auction will open at €725.

COPE Galway Shop Manager, Allison Curragh said, “This necklace is a rarity and we are very grateful to the donor, who knew this piece was valuable. We are excited to hold our first auction and really hope the necklace achieves a high price, which will go directly to our services.”

Meanwhile, the COPE Galway Charity Shop is fully stocked with a wide selection of hats, fascinators, gorgeous dresses, shoes and accessories to transform prospective racegoers into a perfectly styled lady or gentleman.  All funds raised will go directly to COPE Galway’s services for people experiencing homelessness, domestic abuse and its senior support services.
