Teach Corrib is a drop in Day Centre for individual men and women who are homeless or rough sleeping in Galway City.

Our team provide client-centred advice, information and support that is tailored to each individual’s situation and needs. They will work with you to assess your situation, identify and explore all options available for your specific situation.

The centre is also a great social space to meet other people and grab a coffee, tea, soup or sandwich. Some of our clients just come in to use the laundry and shower facilities.

Who is the service for?

Individual men and women, 18 years or over, who are homeless or at risk of becoming homelessness.

Support and services at the Day Centre

Referrals to emergency accommodation and other support agencies.
Assistance in applying for welfare payments and other entitlements.
Advice and assistance with housing applications.
Assistance with searching and applying for jobs.
Help with accessing training and skill development opportunities.
Practical life skills and budget advice.
Referrals to tenancy and resettlement support.
