COPE Galway Family Support Services

COPE Galway Family Support Service is a free and confidential service for families in Galway who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Each year, our Family Support team works with hundreds of families. They:

  • Offer support, advice, information, and interventions to prevent families from becoming homeless.
  • Facilitate the placement of families in various forms of emergency accommodation.
  • Helping families that are moving on from homelessness find and secure new homes.
  • Support families that have moved into new accommodation sustain their tenancies and avoid becoming homeless again.

Our team of experienced key workers work with each individual family to identify and explore all possible options available to them, based on their individual needs and situation.

Who is the service for?

Families who are at risk of becoming homeless.

Families who are homeless and have registered as homeless by their local housing authority.

Who is the service for?

  • Families who are at risk of becoming homeless.
  • Families who need information and support in relation housing difficulties that could potentially put them at risk of becoming homeless.
  • Families who are homeless and have been assessed and registered as homeless by their local Housing Authority.
