If your are at risk of losing your home and becoming homeless, we can help you identify available options that may help you avoid losing your home.

If you are at risk of becoming homeless and live in Galway City or County, you will need to first contact your local authority.

After contacting your local authority, contact the following services to access free and confidential housing advice, information and support.

Threshold’s Tenancy Protection and Advice Services

If your tenancy is at risk due to rent increase, receiving a notice to quit, a dispute with your landlord or other housing challenges.

The Private Residential Tenancies Board (PRTB)

If you are facing a dispute with your landlord.

MABS (Money Advise and Budgeting Service)

If you are in mortgage arrears.
