Run the Streets of Galway and raise funds for COPE Galway
Take on this 8k running challenge, on your own or as a team, and and support COPE Galway homeless, domestic abuse and older people services.
The Streets of Galway 8k race is a popular event for runners of all levels. It starts at Father Griffin Street, winds its way through the city’s streets and landmarks, follows a course out around Salthill, along the prom before finishing in The Claddagh.
Challenges like these are more fun when we do them with others. So why not run with friends, work or family. You can chat and cheer each other on, and fundraise together so people who facing homelessness, experiencing domestic abuse and older people in our communities get vital support whenever they need it.
Streets of Galway are offering a discounted registration fee of €20 for anyone who is taking part and fundraising for COPE Galway. There are a limited number of spots available so early registration encouraged.
HealthPlus on Upper Abbeygate Street have offered a 10% discount to anyone who is running and fundraising for COPE Galway. When you sign up and start fundraising you will receive a discount code which you can use in-store or on their website – health-plus.ie. Discount code is valid until 31 August 2023.
