When you can make a complaint.

A complaint must be made within 12 months of the date the issue occurred or became known. However, the earlier we receive a complaint, the sooner and more likely we will be able to fully and thoroughly investigate, and address and resolve it in a timely manner. In exceptional circumstances, COPE Galway may extend this time limit at its discretion.

COPE Galway keep records of complaints received and the steps taken to respond to and address these complaints.

Where your feedback or complaint relates to child protection and/or adult safeguarding, we will deal with such matters in line with statutory requirements and in cooperation with Tusla and the HSE as appropriate.
