COPE Galway and Gamerfest Partnership 2019

COPE Galway is teaming with up GamerFest to bring you a unique and creative way to encourage student's interest in science and technology by designing a video game. The theme of the game will see heroes battling homelessness, providing young people with an introduction to video game design.

Design the outline of a game / character that battles homelessness

  • Entries for the competition can be groups of 1-3 students
  • Entry requires: Concept drawing and description of game play/story (entries to be 2x A4 pages – 1x drawing, 1x description)
  • Competition is open to all secondary school students

Deadline: Friday, 18 October 2019

10 Finalists will be announced on October 22nd, and will be invited to GamerFest at The Galmont Hotel on October 28th where the Overall Winner will be announced on the GamerFest Live Stage. Entries will be judged by the GamerFest Judging Panel, comprising of game designers and YouTuber special guests.
