We are currently seeking applications for the following position:

Business Development Manager, Meals4Health

COPE Galway supports older people towards healthy and active ageing, and understands, respects and responds to the needs of people in our community who face the challenges of homelessness and domestic abuse.

Meals4Health is a social enterprise of COPE Galway, and part of our Senior Support Service. Meals4Health produces and delivers fresh ready meals for older people and others needing specialised nutritional support throughout the west of Ireland.

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual, and involves marketing and selling Meals4Health products to new customers via third party community partners as well as direct to end customers.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be key to the development and growth of Meals4Health as we grow from a regional to a national social enterprise.
  • Ideally have an educational background (at 3rd level) in either business development/marketing/sales
  • Have a minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role with a proven track record in identifying and developing new business relationships and opportunities which deliver significant revenue growth
  • Ideally have experience of the food or food service industry and this would be an advantage

Terms & Conditions:

  • Basic salary €40,000 with 25% sales performance related bonus.
  • Working week – 39 hours.
  • 23 days annual leave excluding 9 bank holidays.
  • Position is based at Meals4Health, Ballybane, Galway with some remote working possible.
  • Travel throughout Connacht (and ultimately Ireland) will be required.
  • Successful Garda clearance is required for the position.
