Saturday September 18th 2010

As part of the closing weekend of Sport Relief 2010, COPE Galway will hold a 5km trail run (walkers also welcome) in the fabulous grounds of Coole Park on Saturday 18th September at 10am. Based on the number of participants, we hope that this inaugural event will become an annual run in what was once a favourite leisure place for some of Ireland's best writers.

Entry to the event costs €18.

The run/walk is an AAI permitted and certified event.

Due to limited parking at Coole Park, all participants are asked to park in the rear car park of the Lady Gregory Hotel in Gort. This car park will be open from 8.45am on Saturday 18th September. Free shuttle buses will then take runners and walkers to the park to arrive no later than 15 minutes before the 10am race start. From 10.30-11.00am the buses will take people back to the Lady Gregory Hotel for tea, coffee and scones and prize-giving.
