Who We Are

Who We Are

COPE Galway is a local charity that has been providing social services for some of the most isolated and vulnerable men, women and children in Galway since the 1970s.

We believe that every person should have a home that meets their needs. We work in partnership with the local community, and organisations to support people to live independently and safely in their own homes and as part of the community, thereby reducing isolation.

COPE Galway provides targeted services to individuals and families facing homelessness, women and children experiencing domestic abuse, and older people in need of social and nutritional support.

We could not continue to provide these vital services without the on-going and generous support of the local Galway community, and our funders.

The hearts represent the wider Galway community; informed, caring and active.
